BigCommerce Channel Configuration

Here you will find detailed information about how to configure your BigCommerce Channel.

Channel Details

Name

The name you want to give to this channel. The name of the channel must be unique. Use something that is meaningful to you.

Inventory Location

Criteria to filter the product inventory that should be used by the channel.

If you want use inventory levels from multiple locations, just inform each location separated by a comma, like "US, Canada". This will push the sum of the quantities in the "US" and in the "Canada" locations.

Version

The version of the content that should be pushed to the store. If the content on the version is empty, it will use the "master" version.

Price Base

Criteria to filter the product price that should be used by the Channel.

Base category

The root of the category tree used by the channel. Can't be changed.

Base URL

The store public URL.

Enabled

When checked, every change on products that are enabled on the channel will be pushed.

When not checked, no changes will be pushed to the channel.

Enable inventory

When checked, the channel will push inventory quantities according to the Inventory Location configuration.

Main Product Relation

The relation that should be used to populate BigCommerce related fields.

Push json product into warranty field

When checked, the warranty field will have a JSON version of the product.

Import Custom Fields

Controls if the import should bring in the product custom fields or not.

Push Parent Categories

When checked, the channel will automatically assign all parent categories of the categories assigned to the product.

Hide Products When Disabled

When checked, when a product is disabled or disabled on the channel, the channel won't delete the product but instead just toggle the visibility to not visible.

Push Child Assets Into Parent When No Assets

When checked, the channel will push the assets of all children on the parent product when it doesn't have any.

Use Default Weight (when product doesn't have one)

When checked, the channel will use the default weight on products that don't have one.

Default Weight

The default weight that should be used on the default weight feature.

Use default price

When checked, the channel will use the default price on products that don't have one.

Default Price

The default price that should be used.

Enable Price List Records

Sync All Options

When checked, the channel will create all options available on the product, even if there are no child using them.

Push Lowest Child Price for Parent Product

When checked, the channel will push the lowest child price as the product price.

Import - Skip products from version stores that doesn't exist on master

When checked, the importer will only import products from additional stores if the product matches a product imported from the main store (the one using the master version).

Disable Price Sync

When checked, will prevent the sync from pushing the price when updating the product.

Keep in mind that the channel can't create products without informing a price. If you don't want to manage prices in the PIM, you can use the "Default Price" setting to set the price of new products.
