Product Data Requirements for BigCommerce Channels

If you are using Jasper PIM to publish products to a BigCommerce storefront, the following conditions must be true for a product to publish:

Name - This is also required by the PIM and must be unique (at the parent level).
SKU - The SKU value must be unique
Category - The product must be assigned to at least one category underneath the category root set in the PIM channel configuration
Price - The product must have a price record and the price base must match the price base set in the PIM channel configuration
Shipping Weight - A shipping weight must be set on the details tab of the product edit screen
Product Enabled on Channel - The product must be enabled on the channel tab of the product edit screen
Product Published - The product must be in a published state (upper right corner of product edit screen in PIM)
Product Relation Type - BigCommerce only supports one type per individual product.
Product Description - BigCommerce only supports the Long Description field in Jasper PIM. Any content written in the Short Description from Jasper PIM will not import into BigCommerce.
If you are going to import products and categories for the first time only into BigCommerce, please make sure all sample items and categories in your BigCommerce store platform are deleted.
